Colombian Medellin Beans
Rich in flavour, medium in body and intensely aromatic with mild acidity.
Colombian Arabica coffee beans are washed. This is a process that purifies and de-acidifies the beans. It gives the coffee a richer taste and stronger aroma. First exports began in 1835 with around 2500 bags being exported into the US. Exports peaked in around 1992 with 17 million bags being exported all over the world. Colombia was the second largest coffee producer in the world next to Brazil until Vietnam began the mass exportation of Robusta coffee beans, Colombia now ranks third.
To experience these beans at their absolute best, grind as and when you need them, altering the grind to suit the brewing method.
