This was the first ever blend developed by Coffee Care. Historically coffees were blended with fig to hide the poor quality of the beans used, however, back in the early 80’s this blend was developed using 100% high quality Arabica beans with the fig added to create a well rounded, sweet coffee. It was a great success as evidenced by the fact that it remains a firm favourite with customers old and new.

To experience this coffee at its absolute best, we recommend using one heaped dessertspoon per cup. You can experiment with this by playing with the dosage of water and coffee to suit your taste for each different blend or origin and brewing method. You can brew with filter, chemex and V60. For cafetiere add fresh water just off the boil and allow the flavour to develop for 3-4 minutes.
