This coffee is from Minas Gerais, the largest coffee producing region in Brazil. The Cerrado refers to the large biosphere consisting of grassy savannah, scrub lands, and gallery forest. It is the largest woodland-savannah in South America, extending from Brazil into Paraguay and Bolivia. Current Brazilian forest code legislation requires the regions farmers to preserve or set aside 35% of natural resources and habitat for wildlife on their farm land.
To experience this coffee at its absolute best, we recommend using one heaped dessertspoon per cup. You can experiment with this by playing with the dosage of water and coffee to suit your taste for each different blend or origin and brewing method. You can brew with filter, chemex and V60. For cafetiere add fresh water just off the boil and allow the flavour to develop for 3-4 minutes.
